Oliver belongs to one of my best friends Jules, who is asking for community support to finance Oliver’s medical bills.
Simply put, Jules is a member of IATSE who has dealt with the financial blow of two industry strikes last year, as well as a car accident that left their transport totaled and them with on going medical expenses including physical therapy. You can imagine their financial situation after all that and then some, but then Oliver got sick.
Jules is asking any and all donations, if possible, to help Oliver. You can read a bit more detail of his needs through the donation link but I can firsthand vouch that he is a wonderful little dude and Jules deserves as much time with him as possible. He has a lot of life left to live and a lot of love to give.

We are an independent fandom research project whose goal is to perform a large-scale survey of AO3 users, asking questions about demographics, preferences and behaviours.

The Mods are diligently going over everyone’s applications, and we are excited share the results with you soon!
We’ve also heard that there have been concerns related mostly to the, well. not great history of zines in this fandom. The mod team behind this zine understands any hesitation, and reassures everyone that we will be as transparent as possible. Not only are we doing this zine, but we recently launched pre-orders for @ofmdmatelotagezine, and last year we did @battendownthehatcheszine. Most of us have also been involved in numerous other zines across various fandoms and have a proven track record of delivering what we promised. We know this isn’t a 100% guarantee, but we hope that it will at least alleviate some worries about how the zine will be run.
In light of this, we have decided to open applications for another two weeks (closing January 3), in case anyone who may have hesitated to apply before has changed their mind. We welcome any questions or concerns, and look forward to hearing from more of you
